P(black) = 26/52 = 1/2
P(jack) = 4/52 = 1/13
so
P(black and jack) = (1/2)*(1/13) = 1/26

answer
P(black and jack) = 1/26

Answer:

{Jack of spades, Jack of clubs}.

Explanation:

We are asked to write the event as set of outcomes. We select black jack from a standard 52 card deck.

We know that there are four jacks in standard deck. Two jacks are black and two are red.

The blackjacks are known as Jack of spades and Jack of clubs.

The sample space of an experiment is the set of all possible outcomes for the given experiment.

Therefore, our set of outcomes would be {Jack of spades, Jack of clubs}.
