You are treating a patient who has an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) and is in cardiac arrest

You can ignore the Defibrillator. You should continue with maintaining airway and performing high quality CPR. However when you use an AED just adjust on of the nodes so it's not directly on the site of the implant.
