If an equation is in the form ax = b we can use The Multiplication or Division Principle of Equality.

The Multiplication or Division Principle of Equality states that if you multiply or divide both sides of an equation by the same expression, you will get an equation with the same solution set as the original equation. Or in other words, the new equation will be equivalent to the original one.

-5h = 50
h = -10 <-- Divide both sides by -5

So, h is equal to -10.
