The correct answer is D! When graphed, you can see a parabola with an axis of symmetry at -1.

Answer:

The graph is a parabola with axis of symmetry at x = –1

Explanation:

the graph of the function.
y = 9x^2 + 18x - 6 1

To find axis of symmetry we use formula

x=(-b)/(2a)

given equation is in the form of y=ax^2+bx+c

a= 9, b= 18 and c= 61

plug in the values in the formula

x=(-b)/(2a)

x=(-18)/(2(9))=-1

So, axis of symmetry at x=1
