Women during the Renaissance Period were denied of political rights. They are mostly under their husband's decisions. In agriculture, women help to gain earnings for their family together with their husband. Although there are restrictions, some women were able to display their capabilities and intelligence that helped run the economy like Isabella d'Este.

The changes that helped women improve are the right to vote and be voted and the right to not be discriminated in the work field. Today, the father and the mother work to provide for their family. Furthermore, domestic work was still done by women but with the men. Also, women are free to engage in political activities and express themselves.
