The law of Cosines:


c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab \cos C

b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2ac \cos B

a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2bc \cos A

Since we have a SAS triangle, we can use

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab \cos C
In the law above, pretend C and
c^2 is P and
p^2
a = 6 and b = 8

So this tells us that the second one it the correct answer.
