Birth control pills are a popular form of contraception for women. How do birth control pills prevent pregnancy?

There are many ways Birth Control prevents pregnancy, but it usually stops the ovulation that way there's nothing for the sperm to fertilize so the woman won't get pregnant . Hope I helped :)

Birth control pills contain two female sex hormones- estrogen and progestin. They work together to prevent ovulation (releasing of eggs from the ovaries).
