For a species with four pairs of chromosomes, 16 gametic combinations are possible
If a species has 4 pairs of chromosomes will mean that the species has 8 alleles. In mating, only one of the pair will be inherited. In this case, the probability of the combination will be 2^4 assuming all the genes is heterozygote.
