The equation to find the volume of a cylinder is V = pi•r^2•h.
The radius is half of the diameter. Since Mr. James' beakers have a diameter of 4, their radius would be 2. 2 squared is 4.
Their height is 9 inches.
V = 3.14•4•9
V = 3.14•36
V = 113.04
The answer is C, or 113.04 cubic inches.
