THE ARTICULAR CAPSULE. In human, the synovial joint connects bones with fibrous joint capsules which is continuous withe the periosteum of the connected bones. It is the external boundary of the synovial cavity which is usually filled with synovial fluid. There are six types of synovial joint in human body which allow movement at various angles.
