According to the germ theory of disease, many diseases are caused by microorganisms. The theory has been researched for many years until it yielded any results. Now, we know that these microorganisms, or germs, are responsible for many diseases that humans can suffer from. Thus, it is important to study and understand those germs in order to create a cure against them.
