A fracture caused by a disease process that weakens the bone and predisposed it to fractures is known as a _pathological_ fracture.
It is "pathological" because normal weight-bearing use of that bone would not cause a fracture; however weakened by the prior disease, the bone is more likely to fracture during common everyday use.
