It has the inability to recognize or interpret sensations of an individual of which it is normal for a healthy individual to feel. Agnosia often arises due to brain damage and it causes the individual to not be able to recognize the things around him or her. Such as recognizing someone else's face or a sound of a voice or music that he or she could hear.
