The answer is C: immortality.

Throughout this sonnet by Shakespeare, he praises his dear friend´s true beauty. By the end of the poem, in the couplet, the poet reaffirms that as long as mankind exists, Shakespeare´s poetry will live on, and with it, the beauty and memory of his dear muse, assuring immortality for both of them and for all of eternity.
