Elizabeth Cady delivered the Declaration of Sentiments to a Women’s rights convention.

Elizabeth wanted to show the meaning and significance of women’s movement and the potential of women. Because of that, she wrote the Declaration of Sentiments. In that, she encouraged women to appreciate the freedoms of American society and she wanted to leave a clear message of the importance of women’s movement.
