One of the effects is the rise in blood pressure. She would also experience a sudden thirst. I f she continues to do this for a longer time it would affect her heart causing it to enlarge and give false signals of taking in more salt and consume more water. The condition of increasing more salt and water would lead to a congestive heart problem.
