(This looks basic, but I need help) In the table below, x represents miles traveled and y represents the cost to travel by train.

What is the y-intercept of this function?

I'll start working on the rate...
15.25- 8.5 =6.75 6.75/ 3= 2.25 <(This is the rate)
8.5- 2.25= 6.25 6.25- 2.25= 4 <(Now I work my way to the y-intercept)
The y-intercept is 4 and the rate, which I found along the way, is 2.25.
