The correct answer is a) resentful.

Many blacks felt resentful about whites who flocked to Harlem clubs.

African American writer Langston Hughes (1902-1967) was also a civil rights activist that also was a poet in the generation of Jazz Poetry in New York. He is considered one of the best exponents of the Harlem Renaissance in New York City. He wrote topics about this period of the revival of African customs and traditions by African Americans in Harlem during the 1920s. It was Hughes who wrote that many blacks felt resentful about whites who flocked to Harlem clubs.
