How do earthworms enrich plant growth?

Earthworms not only help plants by breaking down soil, spreading nutrients and minerals in the process, the waste that comes from Earthworms also helps fertilize the plants.

Explanation: If the top soil is loosened for higher porosity, it is easier for water, minerals and gases to reach the roots of plants, for absorption. Earthworms help plant growth this way, by its penetrating power in wet soil.
