On a large construction project, the price of sheet lumber per square foot is $.30 and spraying the lumber with an anti-termite agent is $.40 per square yard. How much must the construction firm pay for a sprayed sheet of lumber that is 90 square yards?

Answer:$117

Step-by-step explanation: notice it tries to trick you a little because lumber is $.30 for every FOOT so knowing there is 3 feet in a yard your first step is to (.30*3=.90) then you can add $.40 and get 1.3 Finally multiply to get your answer (1.3*90=117)

so 0.30+0.40=0.70 so 0.70 is for one foot. so there are 270 feet in 90 yards, now 270+270=540 so 540x0.70=378. so 378 dollars
