Named after the patron saint who was supposed to protect the afflicted, this dance involved men, women, and children dancing in wild delirium; they performed frenzied leaps and turns, writing as if suffering from epileptic seizures, screaming uncontrollably, and foaming at the mouth.

The correct answer is Saint Vitus Dance.
It refers to the dancing mania that occurred in Europe between the 14th and the 17th centuries, and involved lots of people dancing erratically at the same time. This dancing would last until all of these people collapsed from exhaustion. The cause of this is unknown.
