Why will my headphones work with my ipod, but not on my computer?

You might need to check the headphone port. After a while using it, the headphone port will start to lose the connection

Something might be wrong with the earphone jack on your computer. Make sure you're pushing your earphones in all the way when you plug them in. Also, check the sound settings on your computer and make sure nothing has gotten messed with where it would have affected whether or not sound plays with your earphones plugged in.
