work = force × distance
= 300 N × 2 m
= 600 J

It depends on the angle between the force and the displacement.
Assume the angle is α
Then W = 300 * 2 * cosα = 600 cosα J
If you horizontally push the block on a flat plane, then α = 0, then W = 600 J
