This is a prism volume problem I have the steps but I can't get to the answer can anybody help me resolve the answer was 536 yd. Kim is making a Sandbox for her baby brother the sandbox will be 56 yd long 12 yards wide and 13 yards High how much sand will be required to completely fill the Box

Therefore, you can use the formula:

V = lwh

Values given by you:

L = 56
W = 12
H = 13

So, you need to substitute these values into the formula, then solve.

V = lwh
= (56)(12)(13)
= (672)(13)
= 8736

Therefore, 8736 yd^3 of sand is required to fill the box.
