If the temperature of our oceans continues to rise, what possible long-term effect will this have on marine organisms?

if the ocean temperature were to change in any way the marine organisms could either die off or adapt to the temperature. Most likely it would be a survival of the fittest situation and some animals would die but others would learn to adapt then reproduce.
