This is simple division. Take 12.5 and divide it by 5. Your answer=2.5 hours

2 and a half.
Since he's ran 12.5 miles, and he runs at a pace of five miles per hour, then he can complete five miles in one hour.
And then 12.5 miles, there are 2.5 five miles inside of it.
