Since we know that sum of two complementary angles are 90⁰

=> 65 + 5x = 90

=> 5x = 90 - 65

=> 5x = 35

=> x = 35/5

=> x = 7⁰

2)

Since we know that sum of two supplementary angle are 180

=> 2x + 6x + 20 = 180

=> 8x = 180 - 20

=> 8x = 160

=> x = 160/8

=> x = 20
