every 9 days 30x96=2880 quarts
2880 divided 13 quarts per hour = 221.54
221.54 divided in 24 hours = 9.23 rounded is every 9 days

Answer:

There are 9 days between each pickup.

Explanation:

Since in each trip barrels picked up by the recycling facility = 96

and each barrel holds the wastewater = 30 quarts

So total quantity of wastewater = 30×96 = 2880 quarts

Rate of filling each barrel is = 13 quarts per hour

So time to fill 2880 quarts =
(2880)/(13)=221.54 hours

Now we can convert 221.54 hours =
(221.54)/(24) days

= 9.23 days

Therefore, there are 9 days between each pickup.
