slope = rise / run
slope = 1/20
rise = 6
now sub
1/20 = 6 / run(r)...now u cross multiply because this is a proportion
(1)(r) = (6)(20)
r = 120 <==the run
** and take notice...proportions are nothing but equivalent fractions
1/20 = 6/120
