In terms of the conditions, for which cells would exhibit all these processes and perform them would be in conditions where the cells have and can make use of the enzymes to break down and make use of oxygen radicals and other products and not be poisoned by it. These cells would be in aerobic conditions. Whew oxygen is present richly.
