The Chinese came later when South Korea aided by the United States pushed North Koreans aided by the Soviet Union out past the border near China's border. That's when the Chinese leader mao dezang(Idk how to spell it) told them to not get any closer. Chinese was already communist. So in theory it lead to a war that is still not officially over.
