Who says the following and why? "You know how the heart of a woman always works: she likes to build the wealth of her new groom— of the sons she bore, of her dear, departed husband, not a memory of the dead, no questions asked." *

These were the words uttered by Athena in the famous book, “The Odyssey”. This scene was in Sparta and she was speaking to Penelope. She was then trying and preparing to return to Ithaca convincing Penelope to get married and take some treasure with her.
