the right answer is 5 5/7 not 17 1/2

If the polygon or the figures are similar then it is known that the ratios of their corresponding sides and angles are proportional. In this item we can derive an equation that is,

AC/AE = AD/AB

Substituting the known values,

4/7 = 10/AB

AB from the equation is equal to 70/4 or equal to 17 ½.
