Discrimination based on the socio-economic status of many capitalist states. The rise of capitalism has brought upon slave trades and economic division between the peasants and the bourgeoisie. Slaves were treated unkindly and are often underfeed and malnourished. Some bourgeoisie would sell their slaves when they no longer find no used in them.
