Why do so many deadly natural disasters occur in China and Southeast Asia? These regions' latitude and longitude is especially prone to cyclones. It's a coincidence. Disasters in other parts of the world are underreported. Disasters in these areas are more likely to be deadly due to dense populations and poor infrastructure.
