In order to add radical terms, you need the same index and the radicand.

The terms we are adding up meet both of those criteria. So, we can add them up.

4( \sqrt[5]{x^2y} ) + 3( \sqrt[5]{x^2y} ) = 7(\sqrt[5]{x^2y})

So,
7(\sqrt[5]{x^2y}) is the answer.
