y = m₁ x + c

m₁ = 4 c = 2

we know,

condition for perpendicular lines is

m₁ × m₂ = -1

now, 4 × m₂ = -1

m₂ = -1/4.................(1)

now, we know

y = m₂ x + c

putting value of equation (1)


y = (-1)/(4)* x +c

4y + x = 4c

to get the value of c we need a point

hence, the answer comes out to be 4y + x = 4c
