"And there is no remedy" was part of a horrifying print series created by Francisco Goya, titled The Disasters of War.
This series was created in the beginning of the 19th century, however, they were published in 1863, when Goya was already dead for 35 years. He used many techniques here to portray the horrors of the Peninsular War, such as etching, aquatint, engraving, and drypoint.
