I'm not sure what "showing language" exactly refer to but for me, I understand is as describing someone based on appearance or mannerism. Stating a characteristic that can easily be seen and identified.
1) She is that tall girl wearing a floor-length red gown near the stairwell.
2) I know when she's nervous because she tends to nibble on her nails.
3) I think she's in pain. She keeps on clutching her stomach and doing deep breathes.
