A(rectangle)=5*12=60
A(circle)=(pi)(r^2)
r=(1/2)(5)=2.5
A(circle)=(3.14)(2.5)^2
A(circle)=19.625
Shaded Circle=1/2
(1/2)(19.625)=9.8125
A of unshaded=60-9.8125
A=50.1875 ft
