Answer-

The approximate side length of the square is 4.2 units.

Solution-

Properties of diagonals of square

  1. The diagonals of a square bisect each other and meet at 90°
  2. The diagonals of a square bisect its angles.
  3. The diagonals of a square are equal.

Let us assume that the side length is x.

So, applying Pythagoras Theorem,

\Rightarrow 3^2+3^2=x^2

\Rightarrow x^2=9+9

\Rightarrow x^2=18

\Rightarrow x=√(18)

\Rightarrow x=4.24\approx 4.2

Therefore, the approximate side length of the square is 4.2 units.
