What is the slope of a line that goes through (0,0) amd (5,-1)

(0, 0) and (5, -1)

Slope equation : m = (y₂-y₁) / (x₂-x₁)

Plug everything in :)

m = (-1 - 0) / (5 - 0)

Simplify.

m = -1/5

So, the slope is -1/5
