There are four main types of leukemia. These are:
Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL).
Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL).
Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).
Chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML).

Sandra, who is diagnosed with leukemia is most likely suffering from AML or Acute myeloid leukemia.
Symptoms of AML includes bones or joints pain, fever (at high temperature) and loss of weight. If AML is left untreated, the victim may die within a few months.
