The isotonic solution is appropriate to be given in the goal of maintaining a stable cell environment is because with this solution, this permits water movement to be free, making the solute concentrations to be constant, where in they are not going to be changed, maintaining the environment of the cell. In which this will help the cell to be in a stable environment.
