The period in European History after the fall of the Roman Empire has many nicknames. One of the most famous is "the Dark Ages  What are at least TWO specific examples that you can point that indicate that it  was or was not 'dark' for people living in Europe?

The Renaissance was in the middle or "dark ages" and they were some of the best time in history when it comes to art and knowledge. It was not very dark also because it also had the founding ideas of America with the signing of the Magna Carta.
