Protons and electrons are all examples of charged particles except neutrons.
Protons are positively charged, electrons are negatively charged, and neutrons do not have any type of charge at all - they are neutral. These three particles are the integral parts of an atom, and depending on the number of protons or electrons, or neutrons in an atom, it can either be positive, negative, or neutral as well.
