Use the midpoint formula.
(x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2

(-3+0)/2 (5+-2)/2
(-3/2, 3/2)
The y value is 3/2

y=1.5 at the midpoint of GH. To do this you add the y values of the endpoints together and divide by two ----> 5-2= 3 ----> 3/2= 1.5
