Both James Madison and John Marshall were both Founding Fathers from Virginia.

James Madison was an anti-federalist who co-founded the Democratic-Republican party who was usually with John Marshall, the Federalist Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

.Marshall Was The "Father Of The Supreme Court" while Madison was the "Father" of the Constitution.

On top of that, both of them served as Secretaries of State in America. John Marshal was the fourth while James Madison was the fifth secretary of state.
