Meteoroids burn into pieces when it enters the earth’s atmosphere. Earth’s atmosphere is called the Mesosphere. Mesosphere is the highest level of the atmosphere. When meteoroids hit the mesosphere gases in this area create heat that makes the meteoroids burn into pieces.
