Which storage method may cause tcs food to become unsafe?

TCS food becomes unsafe anytime it is stored between 41 degrees fahrenheit and 140 degrees fahrenheit. Therefore any storage method that does not meet the required temperatures for safe keeping of TCM would make them unsafe, for example canning.
